My name is Pietro Bomprezzi, I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Liebniz University Hannover. I hold a PhD from the University of Milan-Bicocca under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Marchesi, where I am also a research associate at the European Center for European Studies (CefES). I am also a research fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, where I support the Ukraine Support Tracker.
My research interests lie at the intersection of international finance, development economics, and political economy. The use of natural language processing tools and innovative data sources are a key part of my research identity.Â
In my current research agenda, I study the political and economic determinants of European bilateral aid projects through the use of a newly introduced, geocoded dataset on European ODA projects. Please visit at GODAD
